Books before herds

It became apparent to all early in Bolortuyaa’s life that she was far more capable and comfortable with arcane scrolls and history books than caring for her family’s herds. Eventually brought to live at the Algar Stronghold, she devoted herself to the study and care of their neighbors to the south, those revered and mysterious desciples of Aldur, goddess of wisdom and foresight.

Eventually coming to realize that, with her introspective and pensive nature, she was much more closely aligned in temperament to the owl goddess than the raccous Bear god of her Alorn brethren, she dedicated herself to the service of Aldur and her chosen, finding compassion and comaraderie, even from afar.

At the start of the campaign Bolortuyaa, with her pet hawk Xarifa, is making her way to Sendaria in order to see the truth of a bit of prophecy tucked within the pages of a dusty tome not previously opened for centuries.
